LIS 504: Foundations of Library and Information Services (Fall 2025)

Through this group project, I learned that the library science field includes a wide variety of careers beyond traditional libraries, such as archives, digital curation, data management, and information technology. Researching these jobs helped me better understand how LIS professionals apply ethical practices, organization skills, and technology to serve different communities and information needs. I also gained experience collaborating with others, evaluating professional resources, and connecting course concepts to real-world career paths.
